Hunting Safaris

Let our Professional Hunters guide you through an experience of a lifetime — exclusively hunting on an area not smaller than 25,000 acres. And no other hunters to interfere. Discover the magic of South Africa and why this is the best hunting land left on earth. You’ll not only get the opportunity to bring home dream trophies, but you’ll enjoy spectacular scenery in the process. In the evenings, you’ll relax and be pampered in our luxury hunt camp. You’ve been waiting a long time for this kind of experience, and we take pride in ensuring we exceed your expectations.

Several hunting concessions are available and a decision as to which particular one will be used will be based on the following:

  • Availability of requested species in a specific area
  • Availability of date period in a specific area
  • Client’s special request.

Arrival Day:
Your professional hunter (PH) will meet you at the airport and transport you to our Khaya Guest House where you will be spending your first night. Time to catch your breath after all that travel.
Day 1:
Early morning we will transport you to your hunting area and get you settled into camp. We will take some time to ensure that your rifles are still on zero as they get jostled pretty good on the airplanes. That done – time to go hunting!!
Additional Hunting Days:
Typical hunt days start with an early morning cup of coffee (around 6:30 am), followed by an excellent breakfast. Hunting has no set itinerary. Depending on the animal we are after for the day, we will either set out on foot or use our fully-equipped hunting vehicle to scout the concession until we find a “stalk-worthy” trophy. Depending on the time you collect your trophy, we will either return to camp for lunch or stay on the grounds (making use of our lunch-packs) until such time as the hunt is successful. Once a trophy is down, we will have a photo session before transporting the animal to the skinning facility where it will be caped according to your instructions (full skin, cape or cape and back skin). If there is enough time left in the day, we will set off and go hunting again. Around sunset, we return to camp for a well-earned drink or two before gathering around the campfire to relive the day and listen to stories of past hunts.
Last Hunting Day:
After a full hunting day, we will transport you back to Khaya Guest House to spend the last evening finalizing your invoice, getting trophy instructions completed, and making sure we have full details of where to ship your collection of trophies.
Departure Day:
If there is enough time before your flight out, your guide will accompany you to the nearby Carver’s Market to shop for some curios to carry back with you as gifts or decoration for your trophy area. He will then see to it that you are back at the airport well in time to make your flight back home.

The total price for your trip is calculated by adding the individual animals you wish to hunt to the Hunting Travel Package of your choice.

A non-refundable deposit payable at the time of booking with BushTrails and balance payable 60 days prior to departure from the US is required.
