Day 1
After a short transfer from your accommodation in Windhoek, we depart from Eros Airport on a private air charter and enjoy the scenic flight over the spectacular landscapes of southern Namibia. Arrive at the Lodge and take some time to explore and relax before lunch. We go on an afternoon Nature Drive in the pristine Namib Rand Nature Reserve before ending the day with an awe inspiring desert sundowner. After dinner the Wolwedans rangers offer a star gazing experience not to be missed.
Day 2
Spend the day exploring the Namib Rand Nature Reserve on morning and afternoon nature drives. Take some time to relax between activities and take in the views from your room nestled in the red sand dunes of the Namib.
Day 3
An early morning flight takes you to Sesriem landing strip where a private open top vehicle will meet you for an excursion to Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, home to some of the highest sand dunes on earth. A pick-nick brunch will be served under a camelthorn tree amongst the sand dunes before returning to the landing strip for your flight to Swakopmund, En-route enjoy a bird’s eye view of some of the most dramatic scenery on earth as we fly over the Sossusvlei area and the Skeleton Coast. Arrive in Swakopmund and take a ride into the sand dunes hugging the ocean on quad bikes, no previous experience required. Enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the excellent restaurants in Swakopmund.
Day 4
An early start for a Dolphin Cruise on the Walvis Bay Lagoon, a world heritage site for marine life. View several species of sea birds, dolphins, cape fur seals and if you’re lucky hump back whales, southern right whales and orca’s. We end the cruise with a seafood brunch served on the boat with a glass of champagne. Explore the town of Swakopmund, do some shopping or barter for something special at the wood carvers market. Have dinner at yet another excellent restaurant in town.
Day 5
The air charter will hug the coastline and fly over the Skeleton Coast Park, en-route view some of the many shipwrecks stranded on the coast. Enjoy lunch before taking off on the afternoon activity to explore the Hoanib River Valley on a nature drive, possible sightings may include the desert adapted elephants as well as various other plains game species. End the day with a sunset cocktail before returning to the lodge.
Day 6
Take a drive down the Hoanib River bed towards the Atlantic Ocean and the famous Skeleton Coast, spend the day exploring the area visiting seal colonies and various other points of interest. Return to the Lodge and take some time to relax before dinner.
Day 7
Private air charter to Etosha National Park. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch overlooking the waterhole and the Etosha Pan. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Etosha National Park, possible sightings include elephant, rhino, lion, leopard, cheetah, giraffe, zebra and various other plains game species.
Day 8
Spend the day exploring the Etosha National Park on a morning and afternoon game drive returning to the lodge for lunch and some relaxing time.
Day 9
Private air charter to Katima Mulilo in the Caprivi Region of Namibia from where we’ll be transferred by road to Kasane in Botswana. Spend the afternoon on a game drive in Chobe National Park, possible sightings include elephant, lion, leopard, cape buffalo, giraffe, zebra and various other plains game species. A short boat transfer takes us to the Chobe Princess House Boat.
Day 10
Spend the day on excursions from the Chobe Princess by tender boat. Activities include game viewing, bird watching, tiger fishing and an excursion to a local village on Impalila Island.
Day 11
Short transfer by road to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Visit Victoria Falls, one of the natural wonders of the world. Choose to partake in one of many activities including an elephant or lion encounter, Zambezi sundowner cruise, helicopter flight over the falls, game drives, bungy jumping, the list goes on and on (activities are optional). Alternatively explore the shops and craft markets in town. Enjoy dinner at the famous Boma restaurant where the drumming band will keep you entertained for the evening.
Departure Day
If you require an airport transfer your guide will ensure you make it to the airport well in time for your flight back home.
