Take in the famous white clay pan of Deadvlei, and be surrounded by some of the world’s highest sand dunes — reaching over 300 meters. And be awed by the Skeleton Coast, considered one of the most pristine shorelines left in the world.

Day 1
From your accommodation in Windhoek, we travel south over the Spreetzhoogte Pass and into the Namib Desert, where you’ll be treated to spectacular landscapes. Visit Solitaire for some world famous apple pie at Moose McGregor’s desert Bakery. Arrive at the desert lodge in time for lunch and spend some time to relax by the pool and take in your surroundings. Spend the afternoon on a variety of optional activities including hiking trails, E-bike rides and nature drives.
Day 2
Get up early and head out before sunrise to view the spectacular contrasting colors of the Namib sand dunes. Alternatively choose to partake in a hot air balloon safari to get a birds eye view of the spectacular desert landscapes (activity optional). Visit Deadvlei and Sossusvlei where you will see some of the highest sand dunes on the planet. Visit the Sesriem Canyon before returning to the Desert Lodge.
Day 3
We travel by gravel road through the Namib Desert toward Swakopmund. En-route we visit the Gaub and Kuiseb Canyons. We arrive in Swakopmund in time for lunch and take some time to explore this historical town. A selection of adventure activities are on offer including quad biking and sand boarding on the dunes near Swakopmund (choose from a list of other activities — activities are optional). Enjoy a sundowner drink overlooking the Atlantic ocean before dinner at an excellent restaurant in Swakopmund.
Day 4
An early start gets us to Walvis Bay, Namibia’s main port, in time for a dolphin cruise on the Walvis Bay Lagoon, a world heritage site for marine life. Enjoy the boat ride on the calm waters of the lagoon in search of dolphins, whales, sun fish and cape fur seals. A light lunch is served onboard before disembarking at around noon (activity optional). Spend the afternoon exploring the Swakopmund’s many shops, restaurants, cafe’s and museums. Alternatively we take an afternoon drive into the Namib desert and explore sights such as the Moon Landscape and Dune 7. Enjoy dinner at yet another fantastic Restaurant in Swakopmund.
Day 5
We travel east towards Windhoek, Namibia’s Capital City, en-route we visit a gem market and the Spitzkoppe mountain range where you will have the opportunity to view 2000-year-old Bushman rock art. Okahandja woodcarvers market is our next stop where you’ll get the opportunity to barter for that something special from Africa to take home with you. We do a short city tour of Windhoek and visit the craft centre before enjoying a delicious dinner at the world-famous Joe’s Beerhouse. Your guide will transfer you to your hotel of choice. Final Safari day accommodation is not included, please let us know if you require accommodation, we will happily arrange this for you.
Departure Day
If you require an airport transfer your guide will ensure you make it to the airport well in time for your flight back home.
